Puntarenas is one of the most important tourism regions in Costa Rica. Known as the “Pearl of the Pacific”, Puntarenas is the largest province of Costa Rica, with its main attraction the Pacific coastline, extending over more than 500 miles down to the Panamanian boarder. The coastline is full of islands, inlets, beaches, and very beautiful natural treasures, all which make it an excellent tourist destination.
